Motel 6 in Palm Desert is seeking to fill a position for a Houseman / Maintenance Assistant

About the Role:

Motel 6 Ventura Beach is seeking a reliable and motivated Houseman/Maintenance Assistant to support our maintenance and housekeeping teams. This part-time position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, keeping things running smoothly, and maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming property for guests.

Responsibilities:

Perform light maintenance and minor repairs (painting, plumbing, touch-ups, etc).
Assist housekeeping with daily operations and general property upkeep.
Maintain tools, supplies, and storage areas in a safe, organized condition.
Report and respond promptly to maintenance or safety issues.
Support the maintenance manager and property team as needed.

Schedule:

Part-time — approximately 20–25 hours per week (schedule may vary).

Pay Range:

$16.50– $17.00 per hour, depending on experience.

Requirements:

Basic maintenance and repair skills.
Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently.
Hotel or apartment maintenance experience preferred but not required.
Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
